Placing Wagers and Betting on Sports.com

There are different ways to place wagers on and within the different sportsbooks, both individually and geographically. North American sports betting is different from placing wagers on European sportsbooks. Placing hockey bets is different from betting on an MLB sport book and still different, placing wagers on a basketball game. Here is a basic outline for sports betting on all sportsbook types:

First a sports betting enthusiast must choose the sportsbook they wish to bet on at . Click on the pull-down menu that contains the words "Select A Bet Type" to choose which kind of sports betting wager a gambler wants to place. Then select the amount to wager by entering it into the wager box beside the pull-down menu. Now scroll through the available sportsbook games and choose which sportsbook team or teams to bet on. To choose a sportsbook team click on the small box beside the line and that is the sportsbook team chosen to place wagers on. If a gambler is making a combination bet, known as a parlay or teaser, the gambler must choose as many sportsbook teams as is necessary to complete the multiple team wager. This is determined by the type of bet chosen by the gambler. After a gambler is sure of their sportsbook selection, go to the top of and click on the "Place Bet" button. This will now place the gamblers wager on the right side of the screen, which is the gambler's betting ticket. If a gambler tries to place a wager and a red bar comes up on the gamblers betting ticket the gambler has made a mistake in selecting their sportsbook bet. Read the message in the red bar and it will inform the gambler of the error and give the appropriate instructions to correct the mistake. Before the gambler submits their sports betting ticket please make sure to reload or refresh the page so the gambler can see the most current sportsbook lines. The lines can change often and quickly, so make sure the lines are where the gambler wants them before submitting the sports betting ticket. If a gambler finds that one or more of the wagers on their sports betting ticket is not what the gambler wants, simply click the "Cancel" or "Cancel All" button and the sportsbook wagers will be dropped from the gamblers betting ticket. Once completely satisfied with the wager, go to the bottom of the betting ticket and type the word "Yes" in the confirmation box and then click on the "Submit" button. The gamblers wager will now be submitted. A confirmation notice will appear and the gambler can view their wagers in the "Pending Wagers" section.

After Placing a Wager on , the bet will appear in the window on the right hand side of the screen. At this point, the gamblers sports betting wager has Not completed nor been accepted. The gambler must go to the bottom of the sports betting ticket and type the word "Yes" in the confirmation box and then click on the "Submit" button. The gamblers sports betting wager will now be submitted. A confirmation notice will appear and the gambler can view their wagers in the "Pending Wagers" section. Sports betting gamblers will see their bet confirmation number listed in the red area at the top of the confirmation screen. If the gambler does not get a bet confirmation number, then the gamblers bet has not been accepted. suggests that the gambler checks their pending wagers screen once all wagers have been completed. If a gamblers bet is not listed in the pending wagers screen, then the gambler was not successful in placing wagers and must try again.
